Constitutional Carry, known by the other side as permitless carry, is growing. Today, 29 states allow law-abiding adults to carry firearms without a state permit, and the number is expected to grow.

Why Public Schools Are Making Space For ‘Faith’ And Christians Aren’t Part Of It

(Grayson Quay, Daily Wire) - When news broke last month that a Minnesota district would include Islamic prayer rooms in its new high school buildings, many commenters drew the wrong conclusion. Some expressed legitimate concerns about the scale of Muslim migration, but others seemed committed to accusing the district of hypocrisy.

“Separation of Church and State for 1 religion only it appears,” one X user snarked.

To which another replied, “What do you mean? Christian and Jewish kids can use this room too.”

Chinese car company patents voice-activated ‘in-vehicle toilet’

(UPI) - A Chinese car company successfully filed to patent a voice-activated “in-vehicle toilet” that slides out from under a passenger seat.

Chongqing-based automaker Seres filed an application under patent number CN224104011U in April 2025, and the patent was officially authorized earlier this month.

The patent filing for the “in-vehicle toilet” states that it is intended to “satisfy users’ toilet needs on long journeys, while camping or while staying in the car.”

The toilet, which is voice activated, stores waste in a tank with a rotating heating element to evaporate urine and dry solid waste. An exhaust fan is also included to take care of odors.

The company has not yet announced any vehicles that will contain the on-the-go toilet.

Seres is not the first company to design an in-vehicle commode -- competitor Polestone previously unveiled a portable toilet consisting of a folding toilet seat that can be stored in the center console and…

In four months, border agents arrest 1,000 child sex offenders in Tampa area. The 1,000th arrest was a Trinidad national on an expired visa and attempted to evade prosecution.

(Bethany Blankley, The Center Square) - order Patrol agents working in Tampa, Florida, have arrested their 1,000th child sex offender in just four months. The 1,000th arrest was of a Trinidadian man convicted of five felony child sex offenses in Hillsborough County with a lengthy criminal record.

They’re working out of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Miami Sector’s Tampa Station, one of the oldest Border Patrol stations in the country.

The Tampa Station first opened in 1925 to respond to large smuggling rings entering Florida using Cuban fishing boats. It is the only station on Florida’s west coast.

Its area of responsibility covers 12 counties in central and western Florida, spanning 190 miles long and 125 miles wide. It also includes three seaports. From the Gulf, it stretches east to Lake, Osceola, Highland and Glades counties. It stretches north to Levy and Marion counties and south to Lee County.

England nature festival organizers have to clarify it is not a nudist event

(UPI) - Organizers of the Cumbria Nature Festival in England issued an “important clarification” about the upcoming event: it is not for nudists.

Festival organizers said on social media that a recent inquiry from a prospective visitor led them to believe they needed to clarify the purpose of the event.

“Cumbria Nature Festival is primarily aimed at NATURALISTS... not NATURISTS,” the post said. “Whilst we aim to be as inclusive as possible, and certainly do not judge anyone, we are aiming the event at wildlife enthusiasts. Please do dress appropriately.”

Organizers said any nudists who booked their tickets in error can exchange them for a full refund.

This Principle, woven into the fabric of our federal system from its inception, finds eloquent confirmation in the writings of Dr. J. L. M. Curry, whose legal justification of Southern action in 1860–1861 rests upon the unbroken historical thread of State Sovereignty.

As Curry demonstrated, the colonies, upon renouncing allegiance to Great Britain, emerged not as one indivisible mass but as distinct and separate Sovereign communities; Virginia’s Declaration of Rights in June 1776 and her Constitution of June 29 of that year exemplified the highest act of Independent Sovereignty, while the Declaration of Independence itself proclaimed the colonies to be “Free and Independent States.”

The Articles of Confederation left no room for ambiguity: “each State retains its Sovereignty, Freedom and Independence and every Power, Jurisdiction and Right, which is not by this confederation expressly delegated.”

Banks with two UDC Military Service Awards. The event was held during the chapter’s monthly meeting at Medley’s Restaurant in Manchester. Bestowing the awards were Chapter President Ginger Delius and Rebecca Odell, recorder of military service awards. Banks was escorted by Chaplain Syble Throneberry. The recipient’s wife, Suzanne Dillard Banks, was present for the ceremony. Mr. Banks’ great-great grandfather, Issac Huddleston, served in the Confederate States Army, Co. He explained why he was going to do it in his recent book In Defense of Open Society. His commitment to the program was announced by the ACLU in 2015. And the financial record of the endeavor has been tracked by dozens of news outlets over the past several years.

The 90-year-old financier and megadonor laid out his case for nationwide criminal justice reform in the second chapter of In Defense of Open Society, itself an updated version of a 2012 essay. He cited such measures as one of the major objectives in his America-related philanthropy agenda.

Montgomery approves new flag, replacing one with Confederate ties

(Dothan Eagle) - A new flag meant to promote unity in Montgomery raised a bit of division among City Council members — mainly due to not knowing how much it will cost to replace versions of the old flag used by city departments.

On May 5, the city council approved the new flag in a 6-1 vote, with the vote against it cast by Council President Pro Tem Glen Pruitt Jr. of District 8. The new flags will go into effect in October.

“I could give a rip about this thing one way or another,” Pruitt said. “But since we don’t have a cost and nobody seems to care enough for this council to give us a cost for it, I’m going to vote against the flag.”

The old flag, adopted on April 19, 1952, included symbols tied to the Confederacy. Two years ago, Montgomery student Jeremiah Treece — who has since graduated from Booker T. Washington Magnet High School — started a petition to change it.

The City Council’s Governmental Affairs & Administration Standing Committee opened a competition to design a new flag. Out of 27 submissions, the committee chose a design submitted by Joshua Gordon. Some modifications from the committee were incorporated into the final version.

Anti-Gun States Want to Disarm Citizens While Arming Non-Citizens

(Roger Katz, AmmoLand) - If a state says law-abiding Americans cannot be trusted with firearms, why is it willing to arm certain non-citizens with badges, guns, and arrest powers?

There is something deeply backward about a state that works overtime to disarm its own citizens while moving to arm non-citizens with badges, guns, and the power to arrest the very people whose rights it keeps trying to crush.

Across the country, anti-gun states have spent years treating the law-abiding American citizen as the problem. These are the same states that push magazine bans, “assault weapon” bans, carry restrictions, waiting periods, permitting schemes, and every other obstacle they can dream up to make it harder for ordinary Americans to exercise their right to keep and bear arms.

At the same time, some of those very same jurisdictions have moved to let certain non-citizens serve as police officers, so long as they have federal work authorization and can meet the state’s requirements. The purpose of the bag is to get me through 24 hours in comfort, without the need for my family members to race around looking for my things back at home.

5th Circuit Revives Texas Border Law. The Larger Fight Remains.

(Texian Partisan) - A federal appeals court cleared the way Friday for Texas to enforce Senate Bill 4, the 2023 law that would allow state and local police to arrest people suspected of entering the country illegally. The 5th Circuit overturned a lower court block, finding that several groups challenging the law—Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center, El Paso County, and American Gateways—lacked standing to continue their lawsuit.

The ruling doesn’t settle the larger question. The court didn’t decide whether SB 4 is constitutional. That fight may still be ahead.

What the Ruling Does

Under SB 4, crossing the border illegally into Texas becomes a state crime, not just a federal violation. Law enforcement officers get arrest authority. Judges can order removal to Mexico instead of prosecution, or after conviction.
