A Statement from Daniel Miller, President of the Texas Nationalist Movement Regarding the Texas Hill Country Flood Disaster
Released 4 July 2025
The hearts of all Texans are heavy today as we mourn the thirteen precious lives lost in the catastrophic flooding that struck our beloved Hill Country on July 4th. Our thoughts and prayers are with every family affected by this tragedy, especially those anxiously waiting for news of the twenty-three young girls from Camp Mystic who remain missing.
In this dark hour, we have witnessed the very best of the Texas spirit. Over five hundred emergency personnel have deployed to the disaster zone, working around the clock in dangerous conditions to search for the missing and aid the survivors. From our Texas National Guard to local first responders, from neighbors helping neighbors to churches opening their doors, Texans have once again proven that we take care of our own.
The rapid response by Texas emergency services, the coordination between state and local agencies, and the outpouring of support from communities across our state demonstrate the strength and resilience that defines us as Texans. When the Guadalupe River rose with deadly speed in the pre-dawn hours, it was met by the courage and dedication of our fellow Texans who risked their lives to save others.
To the families who have lost loved ones, please know that all of Texas grieves with you. To those still searching for missing family members, we stand with you in hope and prayer. To the brave men and women conducting search and rescue operations, we are grateful for your service and sacrifice.
The Texas Nationalist Movement calls upon all Texans to support relief efforts in whatever way they can. Whether through donations to…
