(Jack Beavers, US Border News) - During the week of August 2 to August 9, 2026, U.S. border security and immigration news includes setbacks for opponents of border barriers in West Texas, a nationwide ICE body-camera mandate, and aggressive deportation enforcement targeting migrants previously granted “Temporary Protected Status”.
