Even though most of America supports firearm freedom, a few high-population states are behind the harshest gun control laws
In the United States, the right to keep and bear arms is constitutionally protected. Yet today, just 9 to 11 states are responsible for passing and enforcing some of the most aggressive anti-gun laws in the country. These laws often include bans on entire classes of firearms, restrictions on carry rights, forced registration, and bureaucratic permission systems that infringe directly on individual liberty.
What makes this situation more concerning is that these few states represent a disproportionate share of the U.S. population. As a result, their restrictive laws and political agendas exert a national influence that threatens gun owners’ rights far beyond their own borders.
