Another great read from HK Edgerton. here is also a rumor going around that the Lee Memorial will be returned to its column in Lee Circle in New Orleans once that atrocious Christmas ornament is removed. I have received no confirmation on that as of yet.

While the Great State of North Carolina has a Monument Protection Law, it is said to have no validity because there is no enforcement apparatus.
However, there are factions within that the North Carolina Supreme Court never previously explosed when they ruled against the 26th North Carolina vs. the City of Asheville in the Governor Vance Cenltaph. In this case, the Scalawag Jewish Mayor Ester Manheim bypassed the laws and human civil standars and led her constituents, with the exception of the lone Black Vice Mayor, to have this, the Crown Jewel of Asheville, torn down.
And because it was in the Historic District and ironically a Landmark for the Historic March Across Dixie many considerations should have been made to not remove it. \
There is a lot of news about replacing monuments now and I believe it is the time to replace this one!
