I would be remiss in my duty if I did not report on the activities of the Annual 4th of July Parade in Temple Terrace, Florida that I participated in. I have a special message for Facebook who would ban any recognition of my presence in the Annual Christmas Parade in Zephyrhills, Florida last year.
Whereas in Temple Terrace it would be nothing different in my presentation or dress than in Zephyrhills. From the moment the Augusta Jane Evans Wilson Chapter 2640 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Ladies of the Confederate Rose, the Judah P. Benjamin Camp 2210 (all of which I am a Member) rolled onto the Parade route, we would be faced with cheers, claps, the infamous Rebel Yell, and shouts of Happy Independence Day every inch of the Parade route from the beginning to the very end.
It was in clear evidence that we, those of us who had been deemed as myself a dangerous person and those organizations of whom I now rode with who also once again appear in bravado from the citizens who now…
