Multiple truckers told Blaze News that the industry’s challenges stem from the myth that it is battling a truck-driver shortage. Those who reject the truck-driver-shortage claim argue that this taxpayer-subsidized setup effectively incentivizes labor dumping that masks high turnover caused by dismal wages and poor working conditions.
