Import dependent militants to do the dirty work, push the edge of the law constantly, mass assemble when needed and disperse when the law shows up, use murder and violence on the unsuspecting to intimidate. Once Kansas fell, they shifted to Missouri to do the same becoming ever more violent in their attacks. This all happened 8 years prior to Fort Sumter. I wish more were paying attention.
