Land grabs of high value real estate are obvious. Smart cities might be the excuse, but… there’s no way in hell this coveted real estate is going to be doled out to the likes of a bunch of people who want to live in 250 square foot boxes and walk around everywhere. These properties are going to be developed and made desirable and leased out somehow to generate more tax revenue than was being generated from the mansions. Multi millionaires can’t impress each other within the confines of smart cities. Something else is up.
