I am waiting with bated breath for news of packed local meetings in rural Virginia with everyday people coming to hear West Virginia legislators discuss the process of bringing in rural Virginia counties into West Virginia along with the three western Maryland counties. If any issue is enough to spark real grassroots fervor for secession from the Richmond/DC corridor in rural Virginia, it would be the gun control issue.

That would be great, wouldn't it?

Yes it would and I am expecting it. The rural Virginia residents will need some of their more prominent residents, like Thomas Massie's friend Joel Salatin the prominent rural Virginia farmer, to step up and be one of the leaders in this effort and use his prominent platform to get the word out.

The Virginia state motto on the flag is "Sic Semper Tyrannis", "Thus Always to Tyrants" which means death to them, we need to start taking that literally and seriously here in Virginia.

The SCOTUS has already ruled on AR bans; nope.

They can limit magazine capacity and require a tool to remove the mag but the AR platform is a firearm in common use, therefore possession and use is protected by the 2nd amendment.

Leftists know this, so passing this legislation is a sign of their willingness to violate the law unless they are forced to comply.

Virginia is going through what Minnesota went through during the commie democrat trifecta in the legislature in 2022 2023. Every left wing wet dream gets pushed through.

Yes. And even if the GOP assumes a majority in future, they won’t repeal anything the leftists have done.
