I guess there is nothing wrong with having a 1911 in 9mm but if you are going to shoot 9mm, and I do, why would you use the 1911 platform?
In my case, it’s my favorite and most familiar platform. Muscle memory from long before it was issued to me by the imperial army. And a couple more rounds never hurts. 😁
