Manhood is measured next to Charles Bronson. He is 1 Bronson. All other men are measured in milliBronsons.

Except Chuck Norris, as there is an equivalency formula used to correlate the Bronson to the Norris.

Chuck deserves the historical applause, but when it comes to real-deal badasses, it's hard to overlook Randall "Tex" Cobb. Legitimate bad-assery to be feared by anyone unarmed. Anyone.

As is often the case, both of these heroes blend badass-violence with engaging and people-friendly dispositions.

(Note to self- "Never antagonize a friendly, funny dude"...You just never know!

Onward, Christian soldiers!

Always loved Tex. He's had some great parts. From Uncommon Valor to more Comedic roles such as in Raising Arizona

His post-fight interview in the Larry Holmes championship fight (when he came out in Hollywood sunglasses to hide his swollen-closed eyes) spoke huge volumes about his character and humility.

The story about he and a network big-wig getting jumped in a NY alley by six thugs armed with pipes and stuff is legendary. I believe two of the thugs are permanently injured, one in a wheelchair. The network guy said he owed his life to Tex.

You da' man, Tex!
