There needs to be a Pro-South version of "PragerU" to engage with younger audiences.
I am not endorsing their organization, but PragerU has incredibly effective visuals and narrations for their videos.
- The content is concise
- The message is clear
- The language is understandable
- The story is conveyed in a compelling manner
- The visuals properly supplement the narrative and catch the viewer's attention
There are other entities that effectively communicate as well, but PragerU comes best to mind.
So, is there an organized, existing Confederate heritage version of "PragerU"? If not, how (NOT if, but how) can such an effort be launched?
I envision such videos being utilized to thoroughly, concisely answer anti-Southern, anti-American views, such as:
- The South fought to preserve slavery
- Secession was unconstitutional
- Secession ordinances and declarations all identified slavery as the chief cause of the War
- The Cornerstone Speech was the definitive pro-slavery statement for the entire Southern Cause
Among other topics. There have been excellent videos from disparate individuals over the years, but there needs to be well-produced, short-fused, punchy videos to rapidly and decidedly refute these radical marxist talking points.
Mike couldn’t have said it better bs they teach in schools but I loved my Louisiana History teacher cuz she taught it like it was naked aggression to rob the SOUTH AND SOUTHERN PEOPLE and like the song I heard A Country Can Survive and I taught my sons that I or anyone else had a slave and if they wanna bitch about the past my families left life and limbs to keep a CHRISTIAN NATION not one ruled by a satanic cult
The posters here are correct, but remember, we are fighting a powerful left-wing statist influence. They control almost every institution in America. Read the standards of most state’s school curriculum for American history at every level and it is the same old Father Abraham whipped the south because he and the north all hated slavery, and this is the one I hate the most. One of my professors said this in a class called “The Old South and the Civil War .” He said the elites died defending slavery and the rest of the southern dead, died in hopes that they too, could one day own slaves. I audibly chuckled while my classmates listened with rapt attention. Now, I do not know about you, my brothers and sisters of the South but that kind of bullshit makes my blood boil. Stand at the wall at Gettysburg where the North Carolinians of Pettigrew’s Brigade walked into a row of cannon firing double canister at 20 yards and almost to a man were blown into eternity. Slavery! The Confederate soldier knew that they were defending the homeland against naked aggression and to protect the nation of sovereign states won by their grandfathers. Read their letters. What more noble cause is there in the world worth dying for than this, save our faith. This is the nonsense fed to school kids everywhere. It is a brain wash and deprogramming is hard to do, but do it we must. God bless those men, boys, and women who gave their whole heart and in some cases their lives. Let’s win them back one at a time.
