The historical paralel to Roosevelt's approach is really fascinatiing. If we look at how he tackled the anarchist threat after McKinley's death, there's definately merit in applying similar stratgies today. The key difference is that modern movements have digital infrastructure that wasn't around back then. What worked in the early 1900s might need adaptation, but the core principle of decisive leadership remains valid.

It is strange that the supposed anti-Fascists align themselves with the Islamists.

Islam and Fascism share the impetus to control and suppress freedoms.
