In the early 2000’s, Blackberry Smoke roared out of Atlanta. I’ve quickly come to respect their work. Their music is rare, earthy, and above all Southern. I had a chance to meet them at a show a few years ago and they all seemed like a really nice crew. Here they are with their 2021 release, All Rise Again from the album You Hear Georgia.

One other thing Allman related:
How many are aware that the song "Layla" written by Eric Clapton was performed by Duane Allman, slide guitar virtuoso of the Allman Brothers? You'll never hear it from eric "scumbag" clapton. Duane likely did the guitar arrangements as well.
Eric Clapton's biggest talent was finding the best to leach off of. Duane was definitely the best.
Onward, Christian soldiers!
I'm a huge 'Smoke fan. The cut "Waiting On the Thunder" from "Like an Arrow" is very current right now, and has been for a couple years at least.
Wifey and I generally plan our motorbike trips around concerts, Blackberry Smoke and Joe Bonamassa are usual focal points.
I was at the Atlanta Music Festival in 1970 and saw the (real) Allman Brothers first national concert, honestly, Blackberry Smoke is the first "southern music" band since them that I truly liked. They be playa's. With great material.
